Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company, American Motorists Insurance Company and American Manufacturers Mutual Insurance Company (collectively referred to as “Lumbermens”) was ordered into receivership for the purposes of liquidation by the Circuit Court of Cook County Illinois on May 10, 2013. Lumbermens has been in run-off since 2004 and was placed in rehabilitation on July 2, 2012. The Illinois Director of Insurance is the court appointed liquidator of Lumbermens.
