Homewise Preferred Insurance Company (“HPIC”) was ordered into receivership for the purposes of liquidation by the Second Judicial Circuit Court in Leon County, Florida on November 4, 2011. The Florida Department of Financial Services is the court appointed Receiver of HPIC.
The deadline for settling claims or filing suit against FIGA was November 4, 2013.
