CRITICALLY IMPRORTANT INFORMATION

The multi-year emergency assessment [ 2023A – 1% ] will end on 9/30/2026. New and Renewal policies effective 10/1/2026 and forward should not reflect the FIGA 1% assessment.

Please make the necessary adjustments to your policy processes so the FIGA assessment is no longer collected on policies with an effective date after 9/30/2026.

FIGA will continue to collect the emergency assessment on policies with effective dates through 9/30/2026. Quarterly reporting, as well as the annual reconciliation filings, will remain in place until a final reconciliation for premiums has been completed in February 2028.

Notice of ITN for Field Adjusting Services

The American Guaranty Fund Group (AGFG) is issuing an Invitation to Negotiate for Field Adjusting Services. AGFG is the management company for the Florida Insurance Guaranty Association (FIGA) and the Florida Workers’ Compensation Insurance Guaranty Association (FWCIGA). The details of the scope of Field Adjusting Services are included in the Invitation to Negotiate document. Parties must submit responses in accordance with the procedures in the Invitation to Negotiate. The Invitation to Negotiate opened on July 1, 2025. The deadline for submitting written questions for the Invitation to Bid is July 18, 2025, at 4:00 pm EST. The deadline for submitting a bid response is August 1, 2025, at 4:00 pm. EST.

Upcoming Multi-Year Assessment Reporting

THE MULTI-YEAR EMERGENCY ASSESSMENT (2023A 1.0%) FIRST LEVIED ON 04.10.2023, WILL CONTINUE AS PLANNED.

This multi-year continuous assessment will remain in place until all of the Series 2023A Bonds are repaid in full. YEAR 3 OF THE ASSESSMENT WILL COVER ALL POLICIES WITH AN EFFECTIVE OR RENEWAL DATE BETWEEN 10.01.2025 AND 09.30.2026.

This assessment year will be designated 2023A 1.0% YR3, with subsequent years following the same naming convention. Beginning 01.01.2026, DocuSign forms will provide separate reporting lines for Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3. See below for an updated reporting schedule.

Meeting to Announce Claims Management System ITN Selected Vendor Demonstrations

On Monday, March 31^st, AGFG will be hosting a public meeting to announce the vendors they have selected to provide demonstrations of the system they proposed in response to AGFG’s Claims system ITN.

Please note that during this meeting, AGFG will not discuss internal deliberations. Decisions were made based on how much effort would be required to customize the proposed systems to AGFG’s needs, what features the proposed systems provided, and cost.

Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) for FIGA and FWCIGA Claims Audit

FIGA and FWCIGA seek a vendor to perform claims auditing services for closed and open claims. The majority of the audit will involve FIGA claims which are Property and Casualty. There will also be a limited number of FWCIGA claims that are workers’ compensation claims. The Invitation to Negotiate specifies the response date as well as other important dates. Interested parties are to reply within the specified dates.

The American Guaranty Fund Group (AGFG) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to develop an online platform to enhance the exchange of information and business transactions with members of the Florida Insurance Guaranty Association (FIGA) and the Florida Workers’ Compensation Insurance Guaranty Association (FWCIGA).

AGFG is a service company created to provide management and administrative services related to all post-insolvency claims filed with FIGA and FWCIGA. The selection of a successful respondent and the execution of an agreement will be accomplished in accordance with Part II and Part V of Chapter 631, Florida Statutes, and the entities’ Plan of Operations.
